“Rivershark” awarded the UKNEST prize for Agility
Congratulations to Rhine-Waal University and their submarine “Rivershark”, awarded the UKNEST prize for Agility and the overall winners of the European International Submarine Races 2022.
Some innovative and highly effective propulsion solutions on display at the European International Submarine Racing (along with plenty of neoprene!). Congratulations to all the competitors on a fantastic 2 weeks and thank you QinetiQ for hosting.
A huge thank you to the Royal Navy and Royal Logistics Corps for providing the safety boats and divers.
The competition at the European International Submarine Races is hotting-up! Sponsored by UKNEST and UKNEST member BMT, and hosted by UKNEST member QinetiQ; 9 teams from across Europe, North America and East Asia are attempting to be the fastest human-powered submarine over a demanding course.
